Kneading away
Drag the slider to make your Mac busier
A bread cat who lives in your menu bar. The harder your CPU works, the faster she bakes. When things are quiet, she loafs around, yawns and grooms. Click her to see how your Mac is doing, and let her help when storage runs low.

All three speed up as your Mac gets busier, and change moves past 45% and 85%. Speed follows CPU by default, or you can switch it to memory or network.
01
Baking Bbangnyang
Chef hat on, kneading away. Steam curls off her back and a fresh loaf pops up behind her. Past 85%, her eyes start to spin.
02
Rolling Sikppang
Hops along when things pick up, tumbles head over heels past 45%, and trembles in a panic past 85%.
03New
Dangling Bbangnyang
Hangs from your menu bar. The busier it gets, the harder she swings and kicks her legs. Past 85%, her eyes go wide.
When it’s quiet
She loafs with a swish of her tail, and every so often yawns, grooms or bats at some yarn. Leave her long enough and she curls up for a nap.

08FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is it really free?
Yes. No payments, no subscriptions, no ads.
Which Macs does it run on?
Any Mac running macOS 13 (Ventura) or later, Apple Silicon or Intel.
Does it collect my data?
No. There’s no account, and it doesn’t collect usage data.
Will cleanup delete my files?
No. The only things deleted directly are caches that apps rebuild on their own: app caches, Xcode build leftovers and simulator caches. Your own files, like downloads, node_modules and big files, are only moved to the Trash, so you can restore them. Emptying the Trash always asks first, and you pick everything that gets cleaned.
Can I change the language?
Yes. Starting with 1.2, you can choose Automatic, 한국어, English or 日本語 in the app. Automatic follows your Mac’s language.
I have an older version. How do I update?
Quit Bbangnyang from its menu, drag the new Bbangnyang from the DMG into Applications, and choose Replace.
Bbangnyang isn’t showing up in my menu bar.
On a Mac with a notch or a crowded menu bar, she can get hidden. Remove a few other icons, or if you use a menu bar manager, set Bbangnyang to always show.
How do I uninstall it?
Quit Bbangnyang from its menu, then drag it from Applications to the Trash.
Put Bbangnyangin your menu bar.
