How do you set one up on a small budget?
The hackathon setup is the closest match to this post. We put one booth on a counter among the laptops and plugged it in. We used no tripod and no lights.
- Make the frame in the app that day. We put the event name under the frame and did not outsource it.
- Place it on one spot of a counter or table. You do not need to reserve floor space.
- After shooting, guests receive the strip on their phones by QR code. It opens in a browser without installing the app.
- When the event is over, the gallery shows one strip per team.
Where would you spend a bit more?
The base is the app and an iPad. If you need more, there are two places to look.
- Paper prints: connect a printer that supports AirPrint. For a church event we gave the CP1500 as an example.
- A booth to hold the iPad: mini booth rental is 50,000 KRW a day plus 5,000 KRW shipping, and the iPad is separate. See the rental page.
