Seongnam Sujeong Police: 6 Youth Gambling Prevention Frames
The short answer
The six Seongnam Sujeong Police youth gambling prevention frames are free in the Store tab of the my4cut app. Search "성남수정경찰서" (Seongnam Sujeong Police). Students drew them at their peers' level. For gambling problems in Korea, the numbers are 117 to self-report, 1336 for counseling, and 112 to report illegal gambling.
Shooting with students on site
Together with Seongnam Sujeong Police Station we ran a my4cut booth at a youth gambling-prevention event.
Officers and students shot together at the booth, and photos went to each phone by QR.
Six frames drawn by students
Students drew six prevention frames aimed at their own age group, including Broken Puzzle → Completed Future.
With the message inside the frame, the campaign travels every time a photo is shared with a friend.
All six free in the app store
All six frames are free in the my4cut app's public store.
In Korea, gambling problems can be reported at 117 and counselling is available at 1336.
How do I get the prevention frames?
All six are in the public Store, and our card post said it takes about 30 seconds. The order is below.
- Open the MY4CUT app.
- Go to the Store tab.
- Search "성남수정경찰서" (Seongnam Sujeong Police).
- Save the frame you like.
What do the frames say?
Students drew the cyber-gambling prevention content themselves at their peers' level. Our card post presented it as the "Youth Gambling Crime ZERO Project".
Besides "broken puzzle to a completed future", themes include a youth cyber-gambling rescue squad and a fresh start by self-reporting. They go past warning about the risk and show how to ask for help.
Put a frame on a photo the students took at the booth and the drawing and the photo share one strip. When they send it to a friend, the campaign goes along.
Where do I call if I am struggling with gambling?
Our card post listed three numbers, which we copy here as they are. These are Korean phone numbers.
- Cyber-gambling self-report: 117
- Gambling problem counseling: 1336
- Illegal gambling report: 112
