Where did the shoot count come from?
Besides friends shooting at home, my4cut has been used on site at events. Churches, universities, hackathons, pop-up stores, a wedding, Venture Café Tokyo and events in San Francisco are some of them.
Each event made its own frame with a logo or event name in the app, and guests received the photos on their own phones by QR code.
What event and group features exist now?
I wrote that I would keep adding features that are easy to use at events and for groups. These are the pieces that matter when you run it for a whole event.
- Logo customization and dedicated event frames: the custom frame feature lets you make one on the day.
- QR code sharing: guests who have not installed the app still get their strip on their own phones.
- AirPrint: connect a supported printer when you want paper strips.
- Admin password lock: a feature for running events.
