Event photo booth FAQ
What do I need to set up an event photo booth?
Open the my4cut app on an 11-inch iPad. Slide it into the mini booth or put it on a stand and it runs from one table slot; no tripod, lighting, or separate camera is needed.
Can I make a frame with my event name or logo?
Yes. Build it in the app or the web frame maker with your logo, text, and images, register it in the app's frame upload, and it applies to shooting right away. It takes a few minutes, even on the day.
How do guests get their photos?
A QR code appears after each session and everyone saves the photo to their own phone; it opens in the browser without the app. Connect an AirPrint photo printer such as the Canon CP1500 to print on site.
Is the mini booth rented or purchased?
Both. Rent it for a few festival or pop-up days; buy it if a store, church, or club will keep using it. Options and pricing are on the shop page.
Can I take it to an overseas event?
Yes. The iPad, mini booth, photo printer, and paper fit in one carry-on. The same kit ran at Venture Café Tokyo and at a pub and a conference in San Francisco.
